EXPONATEC 2017: shoutr labs presents new digital possibilities for museums

We had a great week at the Exponatec 2017 in Cologne!
At our booth, we presented our shoutr.System and all the new features we've been working on over the past months:

With the shoutr.CMS upgrade, our customers get a simplified user interface for creating media and exhibition pages with just a few clicks. The app preview shows the result on different devices (iPad, iPod, Nexus Smartphone, etc.) directly in the CMS.

A special eye-catcher at our booth was a replica of the lower jaw of a T. rex from the Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin. Visitors could see a smaller version of the jaw as a 3D model on a flyer of the museum.

Another highlight was our shoutr.Audiosync. The audience was able to stream audio tracks synchronously and multilingual with their own smartphone. With this function, museums have the ability to play audio tracks of films on the visitor's devices.

There is a film playing on a flat screen. The ausio file is directly going to the iPad infront of the TV.

Our key account and sales manager, Ronald, gave new impulses in his lecture "Visitor guidance and mediation in the 21st century" and answered questions about the current state of the art.
